We released the Call for Papers for the 1st International Congress on Gesture Mutations in European Cinema, organised by the OCEC, which will be held at Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 31 May to 2 June 2012. The deadline for submissions is 16 May 2012.

The Congress will address gesture in contemporary European cinema, considered as a product of both the crossing of traditions (European and from other continents, cinematic and artistic) and of working processes and exchanges between film-makers and actors.

The Congress will include lectures by keynote international speakers and a workshop bringing together film-makers and actors.
